America needs to make a law that lawyers can't advertise. That will get rid
of the scam suits soon enough. If memory serves most of the british
commonwealth countries didn't allow lawyers to advertise on TV or radio,
just in directories like local phone books. It may also be harder to get
frivolous cases before the courts also.

I've never seen any statistics. I think it's made it much easier for
them to find "victims" for class action lawsuits.
