Only Subaru magazine

I recently bought a new 2004 Forester and have decided I also would not
buy another one.

The heater is next to useless for cold feet.
The steering is too quick for me. Don't ever look away, you could be in
the ditch.
Our 1st sevice cost was outragous.

That's odd? I've never noticed an issue with the heater. And the
steering is anything but quick. Drive and EVO or STi and then you
will know quick! I guess it all depends on what you are used to
driving. I hear lots of folks talking about how fast the Forester XT
is, but I think it's about average for speed.

The steering is too quick? What are you used to, a GM product, or a
bus? If you find it's too quick, I hope you stay off the roads. It
suggests you don't have the reflexes or muscle control to drive in
public.

As one who alternates between a wrx for commuting and a suburban for
towing the boat on weekends I have no clue what he's talking about either.

My new (well slightly new) Cadillac may not out run a WRX Matt, but come
back in 10 Years and let's compare repair and service notes between your
Subie and my Caddy. My guess is you will have spent 2 to 3 times what I
If you own a Subaru, I wish you luck...you will need it if you ever need
to ask their Dealer or Corporate Network for help.

Hrm. Smells like desperate FUD by someone whose dealer screwed them. I
have nothing but good things to say about my Subaru dealership, and I've
gone from a WRX to an STi. People like the above are *not* the target
audience of cars like these--more's the pity these people don't realise
this before they let themselves be brainwashed by the propaganda that
really isn't aimed at them to begin with. I couldn't be happier with my
STi. =] So far so good, and well on-track to keeping it longer than a year.

Cross your fingers for me SilverFXT!

Same here. I have had mine (STi) for more than a year and a half. I love
the thing. Had absolutely no problems, routine maintenance, and the car
does what it was advertised to do and more. I couldn't be happier with it.

LOLOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, if you're too dim to see the difference between an OBW and a
Forester, no wonder you had problems.

With that display of intellect, i can see why a Cadillac is the right
car for you.
