O2 sensors

Dear Bob, please explain why you are continue to post here. You've made
your point, most people here can make up their own minds about Subaru's.
You're upset because most people think you're stupid. Continuing to go
on about this will only confirm that view.

Jeez Tony, Who the hell named you spokesperson for the masses?
You are entitled to you're own pointed(like you're head) opinion.
Everyone has one, kinda like an "Asshole".....some stink..some don't.
Do me a favor there Tony, don't waste your personal time on me :) hahaha
Gotta just love these self-appointed experts.....a dime-a-dozen. I just want
to know who is supplying the dimes........

Hi Bob

Thank you for confirming my and many others thoughts about you.

It just goes to prove that you don't need a long neck to be goose.

Just some of Subaru's *WONDERFUL* design work.
If this is all that's failed 3 times in 12 months, you got a good one!
Hint...........
Scroll down and read some of the other posts in here.
Check out www.ripoffreport.com for some insight from
Subaru customers on how shitty Subaru's customer service really is.
Pull up a chair, get a large cup of coffee, some comfortable shoes
as you will be reading for quite some time.

I hope you're wrong as I've already had to replace two
O2 sensors on my 04 OBW. My guess is Subaru got a
run of shi++y parts from it's vendors.

I have (for a daily driver) a 1994 Honda Del-Sol with the V-Tec engine in
it. it has 98,000 miles on it now. No breakdowns, still passes smog
with no problems. It has needed a few things.......
Timing belt at 60,000 miles(and water pump) (looked OK to me)
Upper and lower radiator hoses replaced at 60,000 miles
Brake pads, rotors turned a few times
Oil changed at 3000 miles and coolant each summer
Changed plugs at 50,000 miles(they looked OK)
Still has original clutch! (mostly freeway miles)
Topped off the A/C freon once in 12 years.
Everything still works, all electric windows,A/C,cooling fan
Complaints.......
It's too small, no room for luggage
It feels too low, everything is bigger on the road
The paint is getting dull, some chipping on the leading edge of the hood.

All things considered, I have gotten my moneys worth out of this Honda.

I agree with you B-Bob. I had an 88 Honda Civic that ran like
a sewing machine until 2003 when the engine finally wore out
with an amazing 270K on the clock! I bought my first Subaru
in 2004 and already it's been in the shop 3 times! I am really
starting to regret having bought a Subaru. The other thing is
it seems that their "Subaru Dealer Service" is staffed by utter
idiots. No common sense seems to pervade up front at the
Customer Desk and the mechanics in the shop remind me of
the ones you see at Jiffy Lube. Only reason I take the Subaru
back to the dealer is for Warranty coverage. Apart from that
I take it to a private mechanic who I trust more. One thing is
fer-sure however, if the A-H's at my Subaru Dealer ever start to pull
a high-cost repair bill on me, you will read about someone
"going postal" at a certain Subaru Dealership someplace
someday either on CNN and/or in the newspaper.

Why not save yourself the grief and aggravation and go buy a Honda or
something else? Yesterday's trip to one of the MANY auto malls in my
area took me past the Honda store, the Subie store, and the Toyota
store, among others. Only the Subie store DIDN'T have cars spilling out
all over the street. Surely you can find something you like... and leave
the Subie dealer intact for those of us who DON'T share your feelings.
