Hello Everyone!

I've got a 1999 Subaru Forester that I can't find replacement L & R windshield sprayer nozzles for.

The dealerships, and online "Subaru parts" at best have the left spray nozzle for $25-35.
Per chat with local Subaru parts sotre, they don't make the right sprayer.

Local parts stores, Amazon, rock auto, etc... all no matches.

I got a couple options, but hoping someone here has an easier/cheaper option.
  • Buy two "left" nozzles and hope the spray pattern isn't too bad ($60).
  • Drill out my hood so larger nozzles will fit.
  • Buy generic ones online, that use a nut to secure, and hope they fit in existing hole.

I'm trying the generic route first for $8 off Amazon as my local parts store don't have such options.

I'm hoping someone will say something like "Hey, the 2004 Forester used same nozzle, u can get them at Walmart" or something like that. :)

Thank you in advance and any input appreciated!

Adam

update: Local Subaru repair shop (not dealership) was able to determine 99-2002 Forester used a unique sprayer.... UGH!

86636FC080 - RH Part number - Subaru does list NOT AVAILABLE??
86636FC090 - LH Part number - Subaru MSRP - $33.48

I would search the RH part number online and see if you can find NOS(new old stock)

Looks like Subaru does list that all Foresters between 1999-2002 are the same part number.

Thank you. Hopefully the generic nozzles fit/work, or I'll just have to drop the $60+ on OEM ones.

:)
