Wheel Swap

Hello to all,

I currently have a 2013 subaru impreza 4 dr, with liftgate. 2.0,5sp manual, 17" low profile wheels\tires. My wife is complaining about road noise even though I bought tires that are supped to be quieter than other.

My question is... can I put 16" wheels and tires off a wrecked 2010 outback so I can put standard all season radials on the impreza to get rid of the road noise.

That won't make much difference. I would check your bearings, drive line, etc. Did you listen and confirm it is road (tire) noise and not something else?

What kind of tires did you put on?
