USB THUMB DRIVE NOT RECOGNIZED

The usb is formatted for far32 has 12 tracks of mp3 files plays on laptop but the media isn’t recognized. Response from display is no media device inserted. Setting has play automatically when usb is inserted.

The USB thumb drive is only a 120mb being used to test setup of the usb for music on trips.
Any suggestions, I just found that media not being recognized is odd. Tried this also using a WESTERN digital passport same message.

I was using An older USB drive formatted correctly BUT apparently the file structure or allocation table was incompatible with a larger 16-32gb drive. Simply using a larger drive fixed it.
