Something strange happened to me this past Tuesday. We were out in our 21 Legacy Limited XT. We were home about 1:30pm, and the car was parked in my detached garage. About 8:00pm a severe thunderstorm went through the area. At about 8:30 our power went out. I walked to the kitchen and looked out the window. I see lights in the garage. I went to the garage and found the headlights were on in the Subaru. Several seconds later they turned themselves off. About 20 minutes later the headlights again came on. I went to the garage and turned the headlight switch from the automatic setting to off.
What would cause the headlights to come on with the ignition off for about 7 hours sitting in a closed garage????? I'm stumped....
