Transmission Drain Plug

I have a 2006 Outback with a 5-speed transmission. Anybody know what
size torx bit is required to remove the transmission drain plug?

Are you sure that isn't the front diff plug? Anyway, pretty sure its a T70 .

If memory serves, the plug on my '02 takes either a 3/8" or 1/2" square
driver (rachet handle sans socket). May be different on the '06.

I paid $26 for it over two years ago from Toolsource.com. Snap-On
sells one for $35. However, Lisle Tool now sells a version that
retails for about $7.
