Hello,
I have a 2019 Ascent that has lit up the TPMS warning light and puts up a big warning that says Check Owner's Manual. It is not reading any of the tires, just showing dashes. I have a code reader/TPMS tool. I do think one of the sensors is dead because the tool can't even read it, but the tool can read the other three and shoes their batteries as OK.
I also scanned on the OBD port and this is what I found on the TPMS module:
C2021, left front tire pressure decrease normal mode, history
C2022, right front tire pressure decrease normal mode, history
C2023, right rear tire pressure decrease normal mode, history
C2124, left rear transmitter no data, current
C2424, left rear transmitter battery voltage decrease, history
So I really believe the left rear is actually dead based on all of this. I'm just not sure why the other three are not reporting. I'm thinking I'll have all 4 sensors replaced since I'm about to have the tires changed anyway. I'm just concerned that there may be more to it, or maybe the one bad sensor is throwing the whole thing off? Any thoughts? Thanks!
