To Amanda and Dr. Rasti...

Gilles Gour

Just to assure you that you serve a necessary purpose on boards like
this one. Reassuring all the others that they are OK, normal, holier
than you, etc. It's especially evident in the posts of those who are
trying to teach you a lesson. All of this is a little sad to read but an
interesting lesson in human nature.

Who REALLY is the troll, Mr. Biased (Rick)? Talk about people needing
to attack others to make themsleves feel superior!

Amanda,

Or is that "a-MAN...duh?"

I had NO idea what a gorgeous babe you are! How could we have been so
wrong about you? Gilles is right... like Steve Martin, it appears you DO
have a "special purpose!"

Special Info just for you to make your day even better:

My freind and I, the driver, were getting onto I-5N from Hwy 50W when
the utility truck on the next right lane cut in front of me (he just
popped up and cut in). I was able to make room for him but as soon as
he got onto my lane, debris (dirt and stuff) flew off toware me,
totally blinding us as if we were in a sand storm. I was already on
the break when he cut in but now I pressed the break almost all the way
(almost because I wanted to give some room for the car behind me;
obviously the car behind me saw that that truck cut in front of me and
was probably prepared) since I couldn't see anything and didn't know
how long the sand storm was going to last.

Fortunately it cleared off pretty quickly and as soon as I was sure we
were safe, I asked my friend to get the license plate number by giving
the number out loud. The guy was a snake, imemdiately chnaging backj
to the lane he came from, lowered the speed SIGNIFICANTLY and tried to
get out of our view. As he was doing that our car passed by his car, I
noticed that he was looking at us and saw my friend writing down. As
he tried to stay out of our view, probably to change lane(s) behind me
and to try to get away, he couldn't due to heavy traffic.

Summary, I followed him and got him to take the nearest exit and got
into parkoing lot. He parked in a way that he could take off easily.
He wouldn't exchange any info. He said it was an act of God. I said
that's why there are insurance. As I called the police, he got into the
car and got away.

Obviously, the SOB would go wash his car, remove the evidence,
probably go change tires to give excuse that his tire seperated. He
was a road hazard and recklessly driving. The police said this before
he left: It was not hit and run.

I tried not to look at the front of my car too closely yet as I wasn't
ready to see all the damage detail yet. Of cousre, I saw some scratches
already.

Hope this makes your day better.

Hey .. after all it's just a car even though it is not even a week that
I brought it home.

Lesson to learn: Instead of trying to call the police especially since
it's obvious that he was going to get away - he didn't want the police
see his dirty truck, use the camera on cell phone and take pictures
(which I failed to do) to collect evidence.

So far my insurance put in under comprehensive category. Had I not done
perma plate service (waxing), the paint would be a lot more messed up,
I assumed.

Today's Horoscope: There is always an idiot out there - in this case
an old guy in late 50s, rude and probably racist too - who would mess
up your perfectly going today in a few seconds.

You wanted his insurance/license info because his truck kicked up some dirt
in front of you??? And then you called the cops? What the hell is wrong with
you?

Duh, he was driving recklessly, cutting in front of me, with piles of
dirt (soil material probably leaked from the bags he was carrying from;
the car seemed to be registered under some kind of state office) in his
utility truck, endangering others' lives. What the hell is wrong with
your brain?
