I just had the solenoids fail in my 2016 Subaru Forester and had to have the transmission body control valve replaced at a mechanic. I have heard that EG Assurance covers almost nothing and is basically just worthless for what actually fails and needs to be replaced in a Subaru. Has anyone ever made a successful insurance claim against them or am I wasting my time? This is the wording of the insurance policy:
2. Transmission/Transaxle System. Transmission / transaxle case, all internal Lubricated Parts in the transmission / transaxle case, dipstick, flex plate, neutral safety switch, output shaft speed sensor, shifter, shifter cable / linkage, torque converter, transmission cooler lines, transmission control module, transmission mounted speed sensor, transmission mounts and vacuum modulator.
