I think this was the site I came to to ask about a noise in the beginning of the year on my Crosstrek. YOU were ALL RIGHT!! It was the rear wheel bearings making the noise. If this is the site thank you to Subyrubyroo, 77'911, and others for your online advice. Also want to add that I went to a local "general mechanic" initially to listen to the sound and after charging me $40 he said it was the motor and that it would be about $10,000. I then got on here and someone also sent Subi Specialists from all over the country. Thank you! Because of that list I went to Higher Ground in FL and they were awesome! My Subi is quiet again. =) Which is why, I believe, it's important to go to a mechanic who specializes in Subis. Thank you all of you who took the time to respond to my blog... I appreciate you!!
