I have an '03 Baja, Just today my sunroof started doing an awful wind noise squeal when it is closed. It's fine until I get going around 40 mph, and then I get a high pitched screaming squeal from the sunroof.
If I retract the sunroof or pop the back the squeal will go away, but I need a more permanent solution as winter is here.
I'm thinking about cleaning and lubing the seals. Someone from a Hyundai forum tried a bunch of different lubricants and recommended DuPont Krytox perfluorinated grease, but it is expensive.
I had a car wash two days ago, and I keep my car outside, but the past two mornings we haven't had a frost.
Any recommendations? Would a wind deflector help?
