Anybody have experience with Subaru transmissions and warranty work? My son had a transmission go out on his 2019 Forester. Subaru service said it was due to low rear differential fluid after it was changed by a Valvoline at about $15,000 miles, although the fluid that was low was actually the transmission (only about 2 quarts drained upon repair). My son was able to watch the video of the Valvoline work and they didn't touch the transmission plug. Cost my son a $1,500 deductible on the $11,000 repair. Anybody have similar experiences with Subaru America?
