So we bought our child a 2018 subaru legacy in 2019, because of its safety features and reputation. Since owning it, we were told of subaru "quirks". One being that one of the windows, every few months, has to be reprogrammed so that the auto up and down features work. It recently stopped working, and since the car is under extended subaru warranty, that they had to "Discharge the car" to get the window to start working again. After paying $135 for this, I was told by the dealer this is a known problem with subaru and this is the fix every time from now on. Also since day one, the radios time has never synced with the time on the phone that it is connected to, even though you select this option in the radio. Again, dealer says this is a known quirk with all subarus and there is no fix. Is this a subaru quirk, because it just seems crazy that a car that is mass produced in the hundred of thousands, would have such a problem that is either not fixable or have to go through reprograming all the time.
