i have a rebuild that i just finished and put into the car (2005 legacy 2.5L e253 sohc NA) and was wondering if it is at all possible that after lining up the camshafts and crank shafts i can be 360 degrees off so the spark is happening out of time with the piston stroke i'm having trouble starting the car but is will crank pretty clean.

Turning the engine to "0" degrees crank position and cams are lined up, it take 2 complete revolutions (720 degrees) to line up the crank and cams again.
Did you prime the fuel system, coil wires connected to the correct cylinders, injectors connected to the correct cylinders?

coil wires and injectors are correctly installed how do you prime the fuel system also i’m thinking it won’t start because of bad grounds from the heads of the engine to the chassis but i was just making sure that my timing wasn’t the issue

Priming the simple way is to turn the ignition key ON to OFF several times. With a fuel pressure gauge, fuel pressure should be noticed. Ground circuits are very important from the battery negative terminal to body ground. The body ground to the engine assembly is equally important. Ground straps can be made to replace or purchase new.
All ground points bust be clean with no oxidized terminals or crimps.

so i could have a spark issue due to the grounding straps from the engine to the chassis

It's possible, the spark plugs and other ECM related components will not operate with no ground circuit(s).
