I recently introduced myself as the owner of a brand new 2025 Forester Premium. I have a burning question that I think I might know the answer to but need some conformation.
The Premium model does not come standard with side mirror turn indicators that, for whatever reason, I would really like to have on the vehicle. My guess is that the wiring for the signals is already in the mirror and just unused. Is there a way to 1) remove the mirror cover, make a connection and replace the 'slug' in the mirror with the turn indictor lens/lamp assembly, 2) replace the mirror with mirrors that have the indicators built in or 3) is it not doable at all?
