Replacing double tailpipe muffler in a WRX

Hi

Have anyone ever tried replacing a basic WRX double tailpipe muffler with
STI original prodrive muffler. Do you feel any difference in terms of power
delivery across the whole rpm band?

You won't see anything.
The muffler isn't a bottleneck.
The 3 catalytic converters are.
If you want actual power gain, get a turbo back exhaust and an uppipe.
Get a turbo back exhaust with high flow cat and a high flow cat before
the turbo like from Random Technologies if you want to be somewhat
smog legal and not grossly pollute.
This will give u faster turbo spool up and probably 10-15 horsepower.
