I have a 2019 Outback. It has suffered from several issues over its short life - 1. split seat panel on drivers side seat, 2. leaking strut on right rear, 3. The infamous discharging of the battery to support starlink on a 24 hour basis (a major problem), 4. the faulty sealing of the Head unit such that moisture built up and destroyed the head unit (again a major problem). Now, the Driver's seat panel has split again!!!!
This is NOT fair wear and tear - it is crappy plastic panels posing as leather, that deteriorate and split. All of these faults have eventually been made good by subaru at their casual speed, and the fine support of my Dealer in Manassas, VA. Is there going to be more repetitive failures now that the seat has split AGAIN?
