I am thinking about purchasing a '25 Forester, either the Sport or Limited, and I have some questions I figured I should ask Forester owners.
I watch reviews and hear the same complaints over and over:
It's slow, the 0-to-60 is over 9-seconds, it's ugly, the infotainment computer is "laggie," it has a CVT, it's stuck in the '90's, etc.
None of those things bother me that much. What I am confused about are the X-Modes and Symmetrical AWD.
Am I correct that the X-Modes turn off over 25-miles per hour? If so, does that mean that they are meant to be used only when driving on trails or in deep snow?
If that is true, is the constant AWD system effective when driving over 25-MPH on snow-covered roads, dirt roads, and wet/slippery roads?
Any help is appreciated.
