Well guys I bought a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek had it for about a year got mad at the radio punched the radio power button so my radio kept shutting on and off by itself and then every day I’d come out to my car I would have to jumpstart it because the battery would go dead because the DCM modules trying to look for a 3G tower Subaru wants to charge you $800 when you can’t even use the starling services if you’re a second owner passed the warranty so there’s been a lot of threads of people looking how to fix it. No one can give a direct answer . I’m that guy sort of stop your radio from going on and off and going dead every day for your battery you go to the engine compartment. Open up the fuse box and pull back up fuse out.. as long as your batteries is in good condition and the terminals are clean the drawers no longer you will lose your backup camera your NAV and your radio and key fob operation but your car will start. Everything will work normally and safely and you’ll have to use the manual key on the door. Your alarm will go off for a minute until you put your key in the ignition and then it’ll just shut off and the car will operate fine when you close the door and make sure you hit your locks. The alarm will still arm, which is great. This will save you $800 from replacing a DCM unit you can’t even use. I’m getting my own alarm system to use the locks and my own radio with NAV problem solved until I get my radio on couple extra bucks for the alarm. I hope this helps you but it helped me. I can drive my car no issues. Oh yeah and your time keeps resetting who cares I got my phone.
