Paint Discolouration

Hi Everyone - we are first time Subaru drivers, and leaders and love the vehicle. We leased a new 2020 Ascent and have never leased before…. Long story short, when we got home from the dealership someone pointed out that there was a round discolouration on the paint…. We figured it may have been condensation from an AC line but wouldn’t wipe off. Dealership said it may be sticker residue but it has never come off…. Almost two years after leasing we had the vehicle in to have summer tires put on and they said they were updating our lease file to make note of a round paint discolouration and that we would need to have it repaired. We said that the dealership said it was likely sticker residue, but the other day the service department said they don’t put stickers on any of their vehicles…. I thought there was a 2020 sticker or magnet on the vehicle there when we went to view the vehicle. We can’t find any pictures of it the day we leased it and the video we sent to family that day is too blurry/quick to see it. Below are two pictures…. Has anyone else ever seen this before?
