Outback engine quit while driving on interstate

My outback just quit running on the interstate.. It did turn over at first but wouldn't even start. Now it wont turn over.. Do you think its battery or alternator?

Could be one or both. If the alternator isnt charging the battery then the battery probably died. Possibly a bad ground as well.

My 2016 is doing the same thing. Did you get yours fixed? What was causing it?

I have not. They say they can’t do anything unless it’s doing it.
