o5 xt sunroof question/poll

Hi,
My users manual says the switch for the sun roof clicks open half way
and on close goes all the way.
Mine is backwards. Click open all the way and on close only goes half
way and you have to manually start it again to close all the way.
Is this normal for 05 xt's??
