I have been squeaking by with a Radio Shack unit for over a decade (remember the shack?). It's time to get something more durable and capable (the continuity function on this one died a long time ago).
I'm a DIY type of person, enough electrical knowledge to do simple household wiring, SOME electrical troubleshooting in vehicles, and we now have moved to a home with a pool (involving pump, etc). I also try doing most repairs to my TV lights myself. That about covers the range of 'service work' that I anticipate doing.
Going forwards, perhaps something in the Fluke line? For the techs and electrical pros amongst us, would you be able to recommend a model or 2 to look at? Thank you in advance,
Grant.
