Hello. My 97 Legacy Outback has thrown a Ck Eng light with a P0170 code - Mass air flow sensor. I'm amazed at the disparity in prices for replacement parts. $35 to $350. The car is my dependable short-distance commuter. I'm inclined to go with a lower cost part. However, does anyone have a recommendation? Are there parts/brands/stores/sources to stay away from? I appreciate any direction.

I've probably answered my own question by researching a little better. Looks like the correct parts are all in the $160 & up range. However, I'd still appreciate any input.Hello.
