I did something stupid to my 2022 Crosstrek today. I put accidentally put a relatively small amount of windshield wiper fluid into the coolant reservoir- I know stupid stupid.

It’s Sunday so no dealer or mechanics open to call. Based on a little research,
I have not turned the car on and so far I have procured a siphon and got almost all of the liquid out of the reservoir.

Looking for a what’s next.

Thanks for any thoughts.

I would try to disconnect the hose from the reservoir and drain it and the hose. I think doing that and refilling the reservoir with the proper coolant mix you'll be fine.

Actually, even if you didn't get it all and refilled as above I would think you'd be fine.

Don't sweat it.

I expect that you have a non problem. Draining the overflow and refilling with the proper fluid would be smart.
