Hi everyone! just got a new 2010 legacy 3.6. It drives great except for one little detail that i cannot pinpoint exactly what it is. When i put the car into reverse, it makes a single "clunk" which comes from the front driver wheel area. when i put it into drive it does it too. it does this noise sometimes too when upshifting/downshifting from 2nd to 3rd speed, since i think the 5 eat transmission shifts those gears a bit rougher than others (common problem).
What i am thinking is that when the car is put into drive/reverse or shifts to 3rd a bit rougher, the car leaps forward and so something like an engine mount could be moving.
Also, the control afm bushing is quite worn on the left wheel, could this explain the noise?
thanks!
