legacy 2007 why ..................electrical questions

Can someone please shine a light on this problem ,

2007 legacy ( eur 3.0 r ) , front windscreen heater and rear-fog-light not
usable.

What i mean is , the rear fog light is fully wired and functioning ( when
hot wired on the fuse ), except when i press the button on the dash.
Same for the front windscreen heater .

i suppose these devices have been disconnected during the respray of the
rear bumper , and the replacement of the front windscreen.

Is there a procedure to get these items "activated " on the can bus system
???

If I understand you correctly, I'd say the shop that performed the
repairs are responsible for correcting these issues.
