I've had many issues with my 2018 50th Edition Impreza sports wagon and with the local Florida dealership.
I want to hear from others if they have had similar experiences.
- 2019 - Car sold with dry rotted tires dated 2016; discovered when purchasing new tires after 25,000 miles. No support by dealer or national
- 2022 - Front seat tears; no support from national
- 2023: Rear hatch paint failure after 4 years - took 14 months to resolve by national headquarters. Subaru paint shop tech told me that they have seen dozens of repainting. National headquarters told me that I only get one defect reimbursement per car.
- 13 Nov 24 - Front brakes incorrectly installed during 70,000 mile replacement of front and rear brakes. Car returned on 2 Dec 2024.
- 2 Dec 2024 - TPMS system discovered to have been damaged during brake replacement when car returned to dealer to replace incorrectly installed front brakes. Dealer tried to charge for TPMS repairs but changed mind after they discussed with national
- 2 Dec 24 - Dealer reported that rear bearings were failing; issue not discovered during 22 Jun or 13 Nov maintenance visits. National headquarters gave me 50% credit.
