is lithia reno subaru maintenance contract transferable?

I am buying a 2002 forester and the seller has a lifetime maintenance
contract on it. Does anybody know if it transferable? I am asking here
because I don't want to be lied to by the dealer.

Ask the dealership and if their answer is yes then make them put it in
writing. If it is part of the sales contract then it would be legally
binding.
