Intermittent Problem

Introducing myself, I am Chip and bought a 2025 Forester Limited about 1.5 weeks ago. I am now experiencing an intermittent problem: I park the car, get out lock the door and sometimes the overhead courtesy lights fad out, and sometimes they don't. Even worse, sometimes they fade out and come back on hours later. I thought maybe there was a faulty switch in the driver's side door and tried slamming the door harder to see if that made a difference. It didn't. Sometimes the condition does not re-occur for a day or more. I am disappointed in a problem like this in a brand new car and have it scheduled back into the dealership in a few days. Has anyone here seen this problem before?
