I think that's the right terminology.

Is the engine in my 2003 Baja an interference or non-interference engine
and which one self-destructs when the timing belt goes? Oh yeah, it's a
belt right? lol

ALL 2.5L Subaru engines ARE interference engines and have a timing
belt. ed
