I’ve had an ‘04 OBW since new. Still ran great, but wouldn’t pass PA inspection because of structural rust. We also have a ‘16 Leggy, with 85k miles. Runs great, been good to us. The Impreza / Crosstrek is bigger inside than than the G 1-3 Outbacks, even has a longer wheelbase. I’m considering a Crosstrek to replace the Outback, as I’d like to have a nimble small wagon. We have a truck, so I’m not too worried about carrying stuff.
Yeah, we’re spoiled with the Leggy. Roomy, comfortable, excellent MPGs. But, will a Crosstrek be a penalty box?
