fuel pump

can you fix a fuel pump that has stopped working?

Generally speaking no, firstly because you can't get the necessary internal
pieces unless you make them yourself. Secondly because the often the main
pump assembly is a sealed unit. Thirdly because the main pump assembly
wears out internally.

Sometimes external parts (hoses, filters, cables) develop problems and can
be cleaned / fixed.

Just get a new one.
