I bought new tires, without doing much research, in the fall of 2023. Since then, I have had to adjust the inflation on this set of tires every 3 - 6 weeks. I live in a mountainous rural area, gravel roads, sometimes potholes. I have never had this problem before though. I am familiar with inflation changing when the weather gets suddenly cold or warm, but this is ridiculous and driving me crazy. It is cheap tires, (I didn't spend a whole lot) or do I have a rim or other problem? I have not asked the seller yet.

The wheels may have corrosion on the bead surface. If so, they must make a smooth surface for the tires to mate to. Another option is if they didn't install new valves/stems.

A change of ~1PSI/10degrees F is normal. So if they 35 PSI cold when ambient temp is 80, they're going to be 34 at 70, 33 at 60 and so on. That is just a rough guide.

Thanks; I will go back to the place who installed them and have them troubleshoot. And they seem to be deflating at about the rate you mention, as we had have big temp swings this fall and winter. One day 50F then 21F at night, etc. If the temp is below freezing for a while, the inflation does not change. If it goes up and down, then it does. The low inflation light comes on when they appear to hit below 30 PSI
