Hi there,
my 2017 Impreza Sport disables the auto-start-stop feature when the engine turns off at red lights. That means, immediately after turning the engine off it turns back on again and the auto-start-stop-light starts flashing for the rest of the drive. Nothing more happens. Next time I drive the car there is no flashing light any more, but at red lights, the same thing happens again.
When I read DTCs I get P173B and C2544.
Shortly before I noticed the auto-start-stop-dysfunction they changed the CVT-oil because of damage to the oil tubes (not much oil loss though, transmission seems to be fine) and they changed the car battery because of normal wear.
Can anyone come up with a reason for the described auto-start-stop-dysfunction? What should be done to eliminate the problem?
