Does Stock WRX suspension fit into a non-turbo impreza 2.5i sedan

I want to lower my 2.5i 2006 impreza sedan but don't want to spend a ton of money on coil overs and thought maybe I could put wrx stock suspension on it to make a little difference. If this is a good idea should I do it or should I just send it on the coil overs?
