Blown radiator

02 Impreza Outback. Swapped 2.0 non turbo in that had 55k on it. Radiator just blew half of tank near upper hose neck completely off. Just a radiator issue or more? No coolant in oil or other leaks previously. It started getting in upper temp range then just popped the tank.

Possible coolant tank cap issue. Not venting as necessary. No easy way to test it. A new one should be under 20 bucks. Cheap insurance.

The tank is just a snap on cap, no pressure. I'm going to start with radiator and new radiator cap and go from there. Thanks
