I have a 2024 Outback (purchased in Aug 2023) with 25000 KM. Has worked like a charm. Last two mornings (below 0C) car is completely dead. Can't even unlock it. Attach portable battery booster to battery, hear some clicking noises, and then have power to the car and can start no problem. This isn't a dead battery as there are no issues with cranking etc. to start the car. It's as if a microswitch somewhere in the electrical system is not closing preventing the start. Car runs perfect and starts without issue during the dat. Sat overnight (10 hrs) in temperature from -7C to 0C. First time issue. Any insight for the hive-mind?

Bad ground. Poor battery connection. Corroded fuse. There are a lot of choices. Is it intermittent? How old is the battery and has it been load tested?

Turned out to be a faulty cockpit controller that was drawing excessive amps while shut off and killed the battery.
