Bird droppings on hood of 2018 Forester

Need some suggestions. I just cleaned 2-3 large bird droppings from the hood of my wife's 2018 Forester, they had only been on the hood 2-2 daysd.. I also put some Meguiars wax on the places where the droppings were. However, with the light just right and the angle looking at it, I can still see where the droppings had been, looks like they may have gotten into the paint finish itself, not sure. Is there something I should use to clean bird droppings off with and make sure they don't get a foothold on the paint finish? I'm new to this forum, just joined but want to take care of the wife's car the right way. Thank you.
