Heyyyy. I bought this 2013 Crosstrek a couple months ago with lots of issues. It had this air/vacuum/fuel issue when I purchased it but since I paid so little for it, I figured I could fix the issue.
While driving, it shudders as if it’s not getting enough air or maybe fuel. When I disconnect the MAF, it runs better but then throws a code. No code otherwise. I replaced the MAF but no change. I checked all 5 of the wires for the MAF harness and they are intact. I’ve replaced the throttle body, numerous sensors, spark plugs, rear CAT, etc. I’ve checked all the hoses. I can’t figure out what the issue is. Maybe ECM? But I don’t want to keep replacing parts and just spitting in the wind. It idles fine right at 500rpm. I was shuddering at idle but since I replaced the MAF, it now only shudders while driving

Can I suggest you take out the EGR valve and clean it out? My car wasn't exactly stalling out, but similar to yours would hesitate and feel like it wasn't getting enough fuel. I cleaned out the EGR and also washed out the MAS with that solvent, problem went away, so I can't be sure which was the solution, but what you describe is a well-known issue; look on YouTube for a video, it's not hard to do yourself.

Air/fuel ratio is controlled by the pre catalytic converter O2 sensor. Have any codes come up for that? Might try a new one...
