99 Legacy Wagon Sunroof adjustment

Hi,
The sunroof on this car leaks a little in the back. The front and sides all
have a channel to catch water, and water drains out of these fine. However,
the rear seal does not hace a channel - it drains into the car!. You can see
light through it which indicates it is not sealing quite right. It is very
close. The dealer says the whole window has to be replaced ~ $400. If I
could just adjust this back a 32nd of an inch it would look like it would
seal. It is not obvious how to do this. Any experience out there in doing
this?

Thanks,
Ken

Body shops use a tube-type caulk to put under the molding to help
close the gap that you describe. I have seen this on door molding, but
this does not work if the seal is closed (nowhere to put the caulk).

Of course the dealer will tell you that it has to be R & R'd. Go to a
body shop instead of getting screwed at the stealership.
