2021 Crosstrek. 73K miles. Purchased new in Oct 2020.
For the past 8/10 months the engine will occasionally have issue turning over. This will happen when coming out of Auto Stop/Start (I now disable the feature every time I get in the car because I just don't want to deal with it not starting in city traffic) and also if I start it quickly after stopping/turning it off from a 30+ minute drive (running inside a store, grocery shopping, etc). When this happens, the RAB Disabled message comes on and quickly disappears. The check engine light does not come on when this happens.
I've taken it to the mechanic specifically twice for this issue and each time they've tested everything (battery, starter, alternator, etc) and say nothing is wrong and they weren't able to replicate the issue and just advise me to bring it back when it happens again.
Any suggestions as to what could be causing the sluggish start so I can better guide the mechanic? I drive the car every day so it's not like it sits. I get regular oil changes, regular maintenance.
