Hello All, I am starting to have a couple electrical gremlins in my legacy.

Recently my dash lights and the backlights on the radio screen flicker at night. It’s just the backlighting flickering not the actual warning lights. They just randomly flicker, sometimes for 10 seconds, sometimes 30 seconds. It may happen every 2 minutes or sometimes once a week. Also, the radio screen just starts randomly changing channels and blinking like someone is changing the stations.

I thought it may have been a bad battery, so I got a new one and put it in...Still no luck.

Thought it may be the alternator, was going the just replace it to eliminate that thought until i was given the price for one

So, I pulled out my Fluke Meter and while running its putting out around 14.4v so it was charging when i checked it.

It is still giving me issues and it seems its happening more often now. Anyone ever come across an issue like this?

Sounds like you checked the likely suspects. Look for any water or dampness under the carpets. If there is any, dry and air it out. Another owner had the same problem and posted his solution on the Forester forum. Good luck....
