2019 legacy backrest cushion/cover re-install

I took a part the backrest to replace the cushion and I'm having one hang up. There are two straps attached to the cover on the left side right above the airbag. One strap goes through the slot in the cushion behind the airbag but how does the other strap route?Does it go over the cushion Or does it go through the slot and across the top of the airbag or does it go along with the other strap behind the airbag module? Both straps mount at the same part at the back of the metal frame.
