2019 Impreza Brake Lught Bulbs

Went to retrofit my brake light bulbs with LED strobe light. I took off the brake light housing from the car and noticed there is no socket to remove for the brake lights. Does this mean that it is solid state if the brake lights go out I have to replace the whole unit? Reason I’m asking is that I bought a set of brake light replacements that are strobes from eBay and eBay said that they would fit my car. It doesn’t look like they do.Any advice would be appreciated.
