Hi all!!!
I bought my 2018 Subaru Forester in 2023. It has 118k miles on it.
This is my first ever CVT transmission and I started to expirence some weird things, such as rattle, delayed acceleration, etc. At 139k my transmission took a dip. I paid 6k for a used one to be installed with 90k miles. The first two days I did not hear a thing during acceleration, but by day 3, I started to hear it.
Is this common for CVT's? I have a warranty and DO NOT want to miss the opportunity to have the issue addressed. I also DO NOT want to put another CVT in this vehicle.
Any thoughts other than I should've gotten the manual transmission :{ ?
