2017 Forester with 81,562 miles. Just had an oil change at the dealership and they informed us we have an oil leak and they recommended us to "reseal cam carriers, found leak." The problem is the dealership wants $3,688.04 to reseal the cam carriers as it's a very labor intensive job. One would think after only 81,000 there shouldn't be an oil leak in a Subaru? Is this a serious issue? Would Subaru of America bore the brunt of this costly fix? Please advise.
