It's a 2016 Outback 3.6 L. I was doing some maintenance yesterday and noticed that the battery terminals were getting corroded and that the battery was actually smaller than the standard (I'm the second owner). So I decided that I would replace the battery. This morning I discovered my wife had left the FOB in the car over night. When I tried to start it, I got the Access Key Disabled message. I assumed it was probably due to the bad connection, got the right battery and replaced it. Now, I have zip. No power to lights, flasher, dash or anything else.
No. I didn't hook it up backwards. I checked and there is power to the under hood fuse box, including the main. So I'm thinking that this might have something to do with the security system. Does anyone have any advice.
Thanks,
Gary
